Brothers' Rome ... Italy has awakened! Laura Pausini



On the occasion of the 150th anniversary of the Unification of Italy Rome is honored to host the celebrations for this anniversary with a rich program full of events, beginning with the Tricolore the night between 16 and 17 March.

To make it even more spectacular all Romans were invited to exhibit at the windows, balconies, in doorways, courtyards and storefronts our flag.

The city center is alive with a huge stage that will host colorful street theater, fireworks, concerts of military bands, musical performances, theatrical performances, lectures and guided tours.
The most beautiful historic buildings will be invested in architectural projections and lighting spectacular.

The festival takes place along Via XX Settembre and Via del Quirinale to Piazza Venezia Altare della Patria in Piazza del Campidoglio and Piazza Venezia and Via dei Fori Imperiali, Via del Corso to Piazza Colonna.

There will be performances also on Via Veneto, Via Nazionale, Largo Argentina, Corso Vittorio Emanuele, Piazza Navona, Via Arenula and Piazza Sonnino.

will remain open to the public throughout the evening and night museums, palaces of the institutions, holiday themes, spaces of culture and libraries.

Special opening with exhibitions and events at the Capitoline Museums, Museo di Roma in Trastevere, Museo di Roma Palazzo Braschi, Napoleonic Museum, Museum of the 'Ara Pacis, Trajan's Markets, Scuderie del Quirinale, Palazzo Barberini, Castel Sant' Angelo.
All planned initiatives will be free.
So all of Rome will be involved in the celebrations giving locals and tourists alike ' unique opportunity (and it is appropriate to say!) to commemorate this unique occasion and to remind and to reaffirm to all of us that 'Italy is a country unique and indivisible.
